I set out for the month of July to save up every free thing that I got by mail that was posted right here on my freebie blog and I was pleasantly surprised at all of the goodies I got. I went a little OCD with this project and even calculated the value on every item that I could. I know a lot were trial sizes so I broke them down by the full sized products cost by ounce (or whatever measurement) and divided down so that I could have as close of an idea as possible to the total value.
The results: Over $312.32 in FREE stuff in just 1 month! It was a pretty big month with some nice valued items but still any way I break it down it looks like if you claimed everything that I posted here regularly you should be at around or above a $200 value monthly! Just for coming to my site and claiming stuff!
There were some other items that I got for free but since they were coupon ones I left them out of the picture, I only wanted to consider the stuff that I got in the mail at no charge. The easiest way to make sure you see stuff is to set up notifications on the Facebook page. If you hover over the “liked” button on my Facebook page and check next to where it says “get notifications” it will let you know every time I do an update!
I also subscribe to emails, text alerts, and twitter. You would be amazed at how many pages and people are out there dedicated to getting freebies. I also joined the local coupon club in my area on facebook.
I have yet to get anything. I claim something about everyday and have yet to recieve anything. Am I doing something wrong?
