This is a commonly seen FAKE FREEBIE. If you sign up for this, once you are done, a pop up will come up, asking you to complete a survey.

You might be wondering why a company would do this. Companies offer “Fake Freebies” as a way to get your information, and sell it to other companies, to make a profit.

In this particular case, the company is trying to get you to fill out a survey for them. The companies collecting the filled out surveys actually get paid, for survey completion, from other companies.

This “freebie” has been around for a long time, and nobody has received a free hat.
