Independent Whiskey Association – FAKE FREEBIE

The fake freebies from the Independent Whiskey Association have been around for years, and they never arrive. These go back as far as 2013 and 3 years later, not a single person has received one of these freebies.

How do you know it is fake?
There is no website, address or phone number listed. The only real posts they make are their freebies that never arrive. In addition, if you fill out the form for one of their freebies, it has a popup at the end. This is always a sign that an offer is not legit.

What happens if I signed up?
Nothing really. You will probably get more spam emails, but this offer looks like it was primarily created in order to get people to do the surveys and offers that pop up at the end. The person who created this freebie is profiting from the information that you provide on that pop up.

What other Fake Freebies does the Independent Whiskey Association offer?
They have a few on the Facebook page and each of them pop up randomly making the rounds. They have offers for Free Whiskey Stones (its fake), Free Whiskey Flask (its fake) and a Free Ice Ball Maker (its fake too) in the past there has also been a decanter and a few other ones.
